About Studio & My Studio Equipment

Today you don’t need a big Studio Equipment to produce a professional – top quality Audio Tracks. But some Hardware & Software in own “Home Studio” are a must!
It’s doesn’t enough (for me!) make a music only with Laptop, iPad or iPhone… 😉

I keep my studio hardware equipment park deliberately very smart also because I don’t have a lot of space. But I’m proud of some hardware and software highlights in my little Studio, like a new version of Steinberg Cubase 8.5 (enable working & audio recording via Internet), the wonderful Sampler & Music Production Center Akai MPC Renaissance, “Fat Sound Machine” from Sweden Clavia Digital Musical InstrumentsNordLead4 Performance Synthesizer or revolutionary ROLI Seaboard Rise 5D Touch keywave controller – “The future of the keyboard” with fantastic Swam Engine Plugins Plugins. Studiologic Numa Nero Masterkeyboard with 88 real wooden keys ensures a perfect piano feeling.
Also the legendary Lexicon Reverb, Eventide Harmonizer, the TC-Helicon VoiceLive 3 and some important “classic” & modern software synthesizer as a VST plugins (Addictive Drums 2, Addictive Keys, LennarDigital Sylenth1, RevealSound Spire, StevenSlateDrums SSD4, complete AmpleSound Guitars & Basses, Novation Bass-Station & V-Station, Waldorf Largo & Nave, Nexus2, UVI Software, KORG Legacy Collection, Serum, new romplayer Lethal Audio and many others), incl. Native Instruments Komplete 10 Ultimate with many great 3rd Party Plugins for Kontakt (Heavyocity, Output, ProjectSam, Best Service Complete Orchestral Collection by Peter Siedlaczek) rounding the perfect sound in my studio.

***The best is not enough for you!***

Today it is me really hard to imagine, that software Synths-Classics such as PPG Wave by Waldorf, Yamaha Piano The Grand 3 by Steinberg, Yamaha CS-80, Roland Jupiter 8, Solina, ARP 2000, Wurlitzer, Oberheim Matrix 12, Prophet V or Minimoog V by Arturia were missing in my little private music Studio. In the 70’s and 80’s it was “The Sounds” which make a standard scale and are considered like sound standard to this day! The difference is only in the price and packaging. Back then, you had to take tens of thousands of dollars in the hand, which for a few hundred dollars you get today.
And Yes! The Sound is just incredible!

Fractal Audio Systems AXE-FX II XL

Fractal Audio AXE-FX II XL

With Fishman’s TriplePlay Guitar Synth Pickup solution I can play on my guitar every VST-Plugin Synthesizer what I want, need and have. In my opinion, one of the best solution for every guitarman, who want to record MIDI notes or audio signal in own DAW whitout latency.
And Fractal Audio System AXE FX-II keep a unforgetable touch not only to my Paul Reed Smith Custom Standard 24 (Vintage Cherry) Guitar, Ibanez Artist ’77 or Electro-Acoustic Washburn Woodstock Model, but it’s a definitely one studio & live “Dream Sound Machine” for every “Guitar Junkies”.

My workspace

Workspace in my studio…

I could list here a whole lot of interesting but also uninteresting devices.
It doesn’t matter! Anyway, who cares?
What brands I use, you can actually see in the footer on every page. I’ll tell anyway in my Blog / News about the devices that I use and what I find interesting.
So, stay tuned, cool & healthy!
